This year Stamford Bridge played host to the largest Sports Merchandise Exhibition so far,with more visitors and exhibitors than ever before, according to post show reports.

The sports industry was out in force with buyers from Ajax,Aston Villa, Celtic, Manchester City,Manchester United,QPR, Reading, Tottenham,Watford and Valencia taking advantage of the opportunity to see the huge range of products displayed by over 100 exhibitors.As well as the football clubs’ visitors from the 2012 Organising Committee, The GB National Baseball Team, John Lewis, London Irish, Sainsbury, Warwickshire CCC and Wembley Stadium were also present to discuss the very latest in sports merchandise.

Mark Bell,Merchandise Buyer from Chelsea Football Club commented: “We find the exhibition really useful as it is a great chance to network with all our licensees & other football clubs all in one day”.

Exhibitors also felt that the event had been a success. 75% of the space for 2008 has been sold already. 2B Toys, Big Bird Sports, Brightways, Club Rugs, Epicz, Eternity, Football Mania, GB Eye, Global Calendars,Hadson,Heritage Leisure Designs,Home Win, James Allen Watches,Merchandise Solutions, MSV International,New Era, Per Annum, Pineapple Aroundshot, Rectella and Zap are just some of the companies already signed up for the event, which takes place on 3rd March 2008.
