The socks are designed by running legend, Dr Ron Hill, MBE - the former Commonwealth and European Marathon Champion, who set a personal best of 2.09, in 1970, when winning the Commonwealth Marathon. In addition, with a PhD in Textile Chemistry and not having missed a day’s running in over 43 years, he knows what is required in a good running sock.
All HILLY socks incorporate technical yarns and design features to wick away moisture and offer maximum comfort and avoid blisters. In particular the Twin Skin (double layer) Moisture Management socks are highly popular, as the two-layer concept helps to reduce friction (and in turn, blisters).With a wicking and permanent antimicrobial inner sock, the socks are ideal for running and other fast action sports.
