Did you know that one in four of your staff either know or have known someone who is affected by dementia? This devastating disease of the brain robs people of their loved ones in a very cruel way. The Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading care and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers.
It provides information and support for people with any form of dementia and their carers. It advises professionals working in the field, funds research, runs quality care services and campaigns for improved health and social care and greater public understanding of dementia.
The Alzheimer’s society is currently looking for participants to join its team for the adidas Dublin marathon on 29th October 2007 in aid of the charity.
Please could you help by placing the poster pictured on your Staff notice board? To receive one please call 020 73060802 or email events@alzheimers.org.uk.
