Lotto has dedicated its Zhero Gravity boot to Inter Milan’s Cruz, marking its fifteenth Italian premier league championship victory.
The Zhero Gravity laceless boot takes the theme of the Italian flag, highlighting its sleek form with a red flame on the sides, the company's green double diamond logo. The heel is green too, and boasts the Italian championship shield, sealed with a blue-and-black “15”.
The number of special Zhero Gravity prototype boots made with the shield are limited: only three pairs, which will be donated to Cruz. The champion has decided to auction them on 24 May on the occasion of a charity evening organised to raise funds for the foundation the Argentine champion supports: Obra del Padre Mario Pantaleo.
Obra del Padre Mario Pantaleo, founded by the Italian priest of the same name who has spent his life among Argentina’s poor, was established in the early '70s to help the people and families in the outlying district of Buenos Aires of Gonzŕlez Catŕn, which has long been considered one of the most run-down areas of the Inter champion’s home nation.
