Restructure: Mammut without Jürgen Schütte

Mammut’s brand manager Jürgen Schütte is to leave the company in August after two years for personal reasons; the long-time K2-manager will return to Germany. According to CEO Rolf Schmid, the position of the brand manager will not be refilled. Schütte’s functions will be distributed to the two business unit directors Adrian Huber (clothing) and Carsten von Birckhahn (hardware).

The functions of the brand managers Stefan Merkt (Raichle) and Daniel Hähner (Toko), who report to Chief Marketing Officer Michael Gyssler, will remain the same. Ex-Invia-manager Ulf Sänger is new in the Mammut-team; he came to the outdoor company in the course of the takeover of the Invia-brand Lucido by the confederates. Sänger coordinates the work of the worldwide subsidiaries. Mammut operates wholly owned affiliated companies in Germany, the USA, Japan and Norway and takes a share in the importers in Belgium and Austria.
