The rats come out to play in London
For the very first time this year, the streets and architecture of the city of London will be transformed into an urban adventure playground for the Rat Race Urban Adventure, sponsored by Columbia Sportswear.
The Rat Race began its assault of city-scapes four years ago in Edinburgh where the streets, buildings and waterways were transformed into challenging and fun obstacles and activities across a series of checkpoints spread out across the city.
An overwhelming response from competitors and spectators has meant the Rat Race has flourished and continued to grow, adding Manchester and Bristol to its expanding adventure race.
The details of locations, challenges and landmarks to be scaled remain top secret for the Rat Race London but a true spectacle the like of which has never been seen before in the City is guaranteed, said organisers.With the event being sponsored by Trinidad & Tobago, Ellis Brigham mountain sports and Columbia sportswear the weekend is set to be a colourful and eye catching extravaganza.
The London Rat Race Urban Adventure will be held over the 29th and 30th September and will include an array of activities for all the family at the London Event Village while the city is being scaled in ways never seen before!
