Zoggs will be sponsoring the ‘Swimzone’ at the Michelob London Triathlon Expo at Excel London in August, which will be renamed The Zoggs Swimzone.
The Zoggs Swimzone feature will consist of two training pools for use by both visitors and competing athletes. Expert coaches will be present at the facility, utilising ‘over and under’ water technology to film swimmers and give them feedback and advice on their swimming technique.
The Zoggs Swimzone will also include a Swim4Triathlon Clinic, featuring a registration area for people to sign up to the newly improved online programme. In addition, Zoggs will be showcasing its goggle range, and ‘Goggle Doctors’ will offer advice on Zoggs’ triathlon-specific products, which will also be on sale via the stand. Prize draws plus promotional and branding activity will also be taking place on the Zoggs stand.
Under the terms of the sponsorship deal (covering both 2007 and 2008 events) Zoggs will also receive prominent branding throughout the Zoggs Swimzone at the Expo and near the swim area of the event itself that takes place in Victoria Dock. In addition, Zoggs will also receive a package of advertising and promotional benefits all linked to the Michelob London Triathlon – now one of the world’s biggest triathlon events, with more than 8,000 amateur and professional athletes expected to compete and over 30,000 spectators expected to attend during the course of the event.
