Lowe Alpine gets faster and lighter for 2010 with significant new introductions in both clothing and backpacks.

A completely revised Activist clothing category sees new high-performance Dryflo Airaid garments introduced with stretch mesh panels for a close fit, plus the launch of new lightweight Triplepoint Dynamic and ultra-light microfibre shells. An updated and improved Dryflo base layer programme also sees a new Lightweight Dryflo fabric launched in garments featuring a range of colours. All Dryflo garments continue to benefits from the acclaimed Polygiene anti-bacterial treatment.

Lowe Alpine's renowned TFX backpacks see new introductions plus an exciting new TFX Light range. In all 18 new backpacks feature the TFX back system from serious load-haulers such as the TFX Fitzroy 80:100 through to the TFX Cerro Torre and TFX Appalachian packs, classic names with massive reputations now reborn.

The new TFX Light range introduces lightweight designs that don't compromise on carrying comfort or durability. Carrying systems have been carefully tailored and new materials sourced including Dyneema fabrics. The Nanon is designed for the backpacker making the transition to ultra lightweight - features rich, yet it only weighs 1.36kg. The Zepton goes one step further with a ruthless approach to features resulting in a pack weighing only 1.18kg - stripped weight is under 1kg.
