Girlguiding UK order over 3,000 Outwell tents
Outwell has been chosen to supply special edition tents to the organisers of the Girlguiding UK Centenary Camp in 2010. It will be the largest camp ever staged by the organisation.
Girlguiding UK, which celebrates its 100th anniversary next year, will be pitching the tents in summer 2010 on the Harewood estate near Leeds in Yorkshire, on a site that is equivalent in size to 75 football pitches. Up to 10,000 Guides, Girl Scouts and their leaders will participate in the Centenary Camp which promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Guides from the UK and all across the world.
The special edition 'Centenary 4' model developed in conjunction with C.W. Tents in Newcastle and Girlguiding UK will feature the Centenary Camp logo and will be produced in four colourways to enable the camp to be arranged in colour-coded sub-camps across the site.
