Craghoppers beats recession and launch DofE range for 2010
British travel and outdoor clothing specialists Craghoppers have announced record sales in the first quarter of 2009.
The brand have smashed their first quarter sales targets by 19% overall and increases have been reported across all divisions. This may be attributed to the increase in British population who are choosing to holiday in the UK. Sales from the brands' iconic Kiwi range go from strength to strength and Craghoppers insect repellent range Nosquito has been the brand's star performer, quadrupling in turnover sales. Development of high performance yet comfortable clothing continues to be high on the agenda for the brand.
Meanwhile, Craghoppers have produced a range of clothing designed for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (the DofE). The range will be available for SS 2010 and will feature essential kit for the many adventures young people undertake during their DofE programme, in particular the Expedition section.
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award collection will be available for the trade to view from mid June 09 and will be stocked in stores from February 2010. The range will be available through outdoor stockists.
Prices for the collection will range from £20 to £100.
