Big Bear distributing Mountainsmith Packs
Big Bear Sports has announced a UK distribution agreement with Mountainsmith, the outdoor backpack, camera pack and developer of innovative carrying solutions manufacturer based in Colorado, US. The agreement will see Big Bear launching and distributing the Mountainsmith brand in the UK with immediate effect.
Mountainsmith's key outdoor range of All Terrain backpacks has been completely revamped for 2010 and recently the packs were awarded the bluesign standard, the first pack manufacturer to be awarded. This means the textile products used are environmentally friendly, pose no health hazards, and conserve resources to the greatest possible extent.
The acquirement of the Mountainsmith follows an agreement with outdoor apparel manufacturer Cloudveil earlier this year; Big Bear Sports has restructured its current operation accordingly, creating a dedicated outdoor division and is in the process of recruiting an outdoor sales manager.
