OTS launches Novel Awards
This year, the UK 's biggest dedicated outdoor trade event, the Outdoor Trade Show will be hosting the inaugural OTS Novel Awards, recognising product innovation and technology.
Exhibitors can enter new products from their Spring/Summer 2010 ranges in different categories to be in with a chance to win an OTS Novel award. A dedicated team of judges will assess the merits of each product through a specific set of criteria, looking at elements such as functionality, environmental friendliness, choice of materials and innovation. The three finalists within each category will be on display at OTS with the winners being announced during the Outdoor Trade Social, which will be held on the first evening of the show at the Strollers restaurant.
Along with specific product award categories such as: clothing, climbing equipment, footwear and sleeping bags, there will also be the overall OTS Product of the Year Award.
