Fifth generation appointed to board of Greaves
Greaves Sports, the famous Glasgow-based independent sports retailer, has announced that a fifth generation of the Greaves family has been appointed to the board of directors.
Hugh Leslie (25) and Miller Greaves (23), both marketing graduates from Glasgow Caledonian and Strathclyde University respectively, have worked in the family business since the age of 16 and have delighted managing director Sandy Greaves by choosing to develop their careers in the sports trade.
Mr Greaves said: "Both Hugh and Miller have worked extremely hard to earn their place on the board and we welcome their appointment. Naturally we are delighted that as a family business they have chosen to commit themselves and continue a long line of family members - now stretching back five generations - who have helped make this business a great success story over the years."
