Molten to sponsor C&D sports awards, also to supply BUCS
Molten, the world's leading manufacturer of inflatable sports balls, is to sponsor the Canterbury & District Sports Awards.
The awards were launched last year as a new initiative of Canterbury City Council to recognise the outstanding efforts and achievements of clubs, coaches and individuals in all sports across the Canterbury district. This year's awards are to be held in association with Molten and presented in November 2009 at a black tie dinner in Canterbury.
Elsewhere, Molten has been appointed as the official ball supplier to British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS), the national organisation for higher education sport in the UK.
The three year deal starts in September 2009 and will run until August 2012. Under the terms of the agreement Molten will supply BUCS with a range of balls for six of its sporting programmes, which are basketball, football, futsal, korfball, volleyball, and waterpolo.
