Trekmates offers the consumer a diverse range of good value, family oriented and attainable accessories. For next season they're focusing on high performance base layers in 100% Bamboo, Vapour Tech and Merino, with a retail support package dedicated to the ranges.
The 100% bamboo garments are 100% naturally grown and are a renewable resource. The yarn also benefits from being incredibly soft, luxuriously smooth and comfortable next to the skin - which is a result of the smooth round surface of the individual bamboo fibres. However, being a soft fabric does not in any way impinge on the technical performance of the fibre which is strong, flexible and breathable for high performance and endurance, with UV protection and natural anti-bacterial.
Vapour Tech base layers focus on quick-dry comfort for high-exertion activities. The technically advanced Vapour Tech fibres are high-wicking channelling moisture away from the skin for enhanced thermal control and quick-drying comfort. There is also a anti-bacterial treatment and high UV protection.
100% Merino offers an ultra-fine, ultra-soft, lightweight base layer that feels exceptionally comfortable to wear next to the skin. It has an warmth-to-weight ratio perfect for fast paced adventure where performance and every gram counts. Merino could be described as nature's intelligent fibre as it is able to absorb and release up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet or damp. Trekmates Merino base layers' natural properties include an ability to adjust to the climate, it's naturally odour free and has high UV protection.
100% Bamboo, Vapour Tech and Merino collections all include men's and ladies long johns, t-shirts and a selection of long sleeved and zipped tops, in sizes S-XXL.
