Rip Curl goes green
Rip Curl have announced that their pro rider Mick Fanning is to be their environmental ambassador. Fanning has finished the season wearing a new green wet suit. In addition to the distinctive colour Fanning's suit is technologically green featuring a new neoprene that uses non-solvent glues in the lamination process significantly reducing chemical air pollutants.
This is just one of the eco-friendly initiatives under the banner of Rip Curl Planet. "Wherever we can we are looking to reduce any impact our products may have on the environment" said Mick Ray Rip Curl global wet suit chairman.
