Polartec launches new Lake and Cumbria challenges
Polartec is working with Cumbria Tourism to create a series of cycling and walking routes throughout the Lake District and Cumbria as part of the Adventure Capital project.
Starting from Ambleside, Carlisle, Coniston, Keswick or Kirkby Stephen the routes will vary in difficulty to suit all abilities and with 10 routes for each town there are plenty of challenges to chose from. The routes will be promoted via the Cumbria Tourism website; www.golakes.co.uk/polartec, and leaflets distributed in specialist outdoor retailers throughout the county.
With around 300,000 visitors to www.golakes.co.uk each month, it’s the perfect way to reach a large audience of walkers, cyclists and outdoor adventurers who all need help from Polartec’s range of fabrics to protect them from the elements. A Polartec link on the home page will make it easy for site visitors to click through to the routes. Suggested products will also be featured on the Polartec pages featuring the latest fabric and technologies. The retailer section will allow visitors to easily find where to purchase Polartec clothing for their adventure in the Lake District and Cumbria from local specialist retailers.
