Hutton’s Number One!
Top SGB Outdoor contributor Tom Hutton has been announced as the winner of the Words & Pictures category in the 2009 Outdoor Writers and Photographers Guild Awards for Excellence. His piece, a five-page feature about Ski Mountaineering in Norway’s Lyngen Alps, first appeared in a travel magazine.
The award recognises the work of authors that are able to combine entertaining writing with stunning photography rather than specialising in one or the other.
