Zoggs hits silver screen
Swimwear brand Zoggs has launched the company’s first ever cinema advertising campaign. ‘Swim with your eyes open – rediscover swimming’ is the strapline of a campaign targeting families and encouraging people of all ages to maximise their enjoyment of swimming by wearing goggles.
“The cinema is primarily a family experience and we feel that by targeting family films on the run up to Christmas allows us maximum exposure to our target audience,” says David Annand, UK marketing manager for Zoggs.
Mark Hammersley, CEO of the Australian company, adds: “People’s reluctance to wear goggles usually stems from a bad experience when they were younger – goggles years ago would steam-up, fill with water or leave unattractive red rings. Goggle technology has moved on. We want to educate people that by wearing a pair of Zoggs goggles, they will enhance their swimming experience.”
