BOA steers towards Bimson

Jennie Bimson, senior account director at PR firm Macesport, has been selected to join an Athlete Engagement Review by the BOA. Bimson, who played hockey for Great Britain at the Beijing Olympics, will be part of the steering group with a brief to improve links between athletes and the BOA ahead of London 2012.

Precision Training stars on Sky

Nixon takes on Nevis

Sara Nixon, owner of Arena Sports in Rye, East Sussex, is in training to walk up Britain’s highest peak, Ben Nevis (1,344 metres above sea level), on October 2, to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. Nixon, who lost her sister Liz to breast cancer 15 years ago, hopes to complete the 9-mile return trip in around eight hours.
