Nike takes Livestrong collection global
Nike has taken its Signature Livestrong collection of footwear, apparel and accessories global, expanding into the UK, France and Canada with the launch of its Autumn range.
Livestrong fights for the 28 million people around the world living with cancer and the charitable contributions from the product collection in collaboration with Nike are a key driving force. Since 2004, Nike has helped the Lance Armstrong Foundation raise more than $80million.
The Livestrong running and training apparel, footwear and accessories have been available in the United States since 2008. Commenting on the new autumn collection, Armstrong, who is currently chasing his eighth Tour de France title, said: “I’m very proud to see Livestrong further our mission internationally, build momentum and give people the resources and support they need to fight cancer effectively. I’m encouraged to see Livestrong make an impact in Canada, France and the UK.”
Nike says the Autumn 2010 Livestrong collection is rooted in performance, style and function, with items ranging from accessories to apparel and footwear.
