Towels and textile accessories firm targets market share growth with new appointment

Hatton Textiles, a UK-based designer and manufacturer of custom textiles, has appointed Alex Blest as new business development manager in order to target market share growth.

Blest takes up a new role at Hatton Textiles explicitly created to identify and increase the company’s market share.

Blest has 10 years of experience in marketing having graduated with a degree in management and marketing.

At the same time, Hatton Textiles’ sales manager Richard King has been promoted to the role of sales director.

The appointments coincide with Hatton Textiles signing of an exclusive agreement with German-based manufacturer MOVE and launching its 2011 Event Range of colours.

Hatton Textiles said it designs and products towels and textile accessories for many of the world’s best known private labels and promotional brands, including many in the gym and sports sectors. It lists football clubs Sunderland and Charlton, energy drink brand Lucozade and the Dubai Rugby 7s tournament as clients.

King said: “It’s a pleasure to be recognised as an intrinsic part of Hatton’s growth and future business plans.
