Accapi adds baselayers and Wellington boots to UK product portfolio
Accapi UK, which is now trading as Accapi Group, has launched three new baselayer lines into the UK and Ireland sports and outdoor markets, as well as a trio of Wellington boots.
The baselayer additions are available for men and women, and include the Dynamic, Ergoracing and Equilibrium ranges. All three are performance, muscle-supporting, baselayers, it said.
Accapi said Dynamic baselayers feature seamless construction of Tactel fibres with anatomic muscle retaining bands that provide muscles with support. Dynamic also provides excellent wicking properties and high levels of comfort, Accapi said.
The Ergoracing provides high-protection from the cold with additional muscle and joint protection and excellent wicking properties, Accapi said. This underwear range is designed for sports that require high protection from the cold and strong flexible support for muscles and joints.
As for Equilibrium, Accapi said the range is non-allergenic and improves postural stability to improve both balance and performance.
Accapi said it has also appointed a new team of sales agents, who together with existing agents, ‘will be appointed to manage these brands in specialist markets’.
Accapi already supplies baselayers to the Italian market, with the UK and Ireland set to receive them from AW11 onwards.
The three Wellington boots are Superlite, Grub’s and Muddies. Accapi said Superlite are ‘the lightest most comfortable performance Wellington boots in the world’, and feature Air-Tunnel and Air-liner technologies
Grub’s are a range of temperature regulating Wellington boots made from a complete Chloroprene booty construction, providing warmth and comfort in a range of temperature conditions from -40 degrees C to 30 degree C.
Accapi said both Superlite and Grub’s have had limited distribution in the UK previously, but in their new position, within the Accapi Group, the brands will receive additional focus and energy. The new brands will also benefit greatly from CEO Andrew Geere's ten year experience in the wellington boot market, the company said.
Muddies are a range of children's Wellington boots that use Chloroprene foam technology to provide comfort, warmth, durability and dryness.
