Thuasne Too Skin
Newest addition to Thuasne’s range of sport underwear, distributed by 1000 Mile Sportswear, is the Too Skin collection, which includes a range of seamless sports bras, said to feel so at one with the body that they feel like skin too. The moulded cups and anatomically designed back and arm holes are designed to offer unrestricted movement, with side and undercup reinforcement bands for support. The bra uses Meryl/Lycra which wicks away moisture whilst being soft to the touch, yet robust, the company claims. Briefs, thongs and shorts complete the range. Thuasne was the official sports bra supplier for the World Netball Series held in Liverpool last month. Over 17,000 people attended the event aired live on Sky.

Asics Gel-250 TR
A multi-purpose training shoe, this women’s model has a breathable open mesh upper, a shock-absorbing GEL cushioning system and a durable rubber outsole. Other technical design features incorporate a memory foam-lined heel collar, which the company claims moulds to the player’s heel for a personalised fit. The company’s AHAR heel plug system is also said to enhance durability at initial impact. The Gel-250 RT is available in white/storm/fuschia and silver/silver/mandarin.

Gilbert Blaze Tanktop and Skort
Designed to look fresh and exciting both on and off the netball court, the new Blaze netball collection for 2011 from Gilbert includes a slim-fitting longer length tank top. Constructed in a polyester double knit mesh with moisture management control, it comes in four colourways, black, pink, cobalt and yellow and features a printed graffiti design and a silver printed Gilbert logo. Team it up with the new Blaze Skort in black and navy also featuring the graffiti design and logo. In stretch polyester this wrap-around design fits low on the hip and features an undershort with mesh insert panel at the back for ventilation.
