Coventry City goalkeeper Keiren Westwood signs with Precision Goalkeeping to expand professional stable further
Coventry City goalkeeper Keiren Westwood has signed with Precision Goalkeeping.
Westwood joins Brian Jensen, Trevor Carson and Kasper Schmeichel, with which Precision has launched the Schmeichology range of gloves, as professional goalkeepers signed with Precision Goalkeeping.
Westwood, who was a product of the Manchester City academy, has made over 250 league appearances and has five caps for the Republic of Ireland. He was also Coventry City Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year in the Championship last season. He will wear the brand new range of Precision Goalkeeping gloves that are due to hit stores in March.
He said: “I am delighted to have signed with Precision Goalkeeping and look forward to a long lasting relationship with them. Despite being a relatively new brand they already have a great reputation amongst the goalkeepers.
“As soon as I tried the new range I knew they were the right gloves for me; superb grip in all conditions and a perfect fit.”
Dave Sanderson, national sales manager for Precision Training, said: “Signing Keiren Westwood is a fantastic coup for Precision Goalkeeping.
“The brand is going from strength to strength and to be able to secure a goalkeeper of Keiren’s quality is testament to the work that we have done to develop the brand new range of gloves.
“Keiren is widely regarded as one of the top goalkeepers outside of the top flight and we have no doubt he will add to his Republic of Ireland caps in the future.”
