Precision grows with U21 debutant
New Precision Goalkeeping addition called up to Republic of Ireland U21 squad for first time
Precision Goalkeeping has signed Ipswich Town 19-year-old Irish goalkeeper Ian McLoughlin to join its growing ranks of professional shot-stoppers wearing its gloves.
McLoughlin is currently on loan at Stockport County and has recently been called up to the Republic of Ireland U21 squad to face Portugal. He has previously been capped at U19 level.
He joins the likes o Kasper Schmeichel, Keiren Westwood and Brian Jensen in wearing Precision Goalkeeping gloves.
The 6’3” keeper will be wearing Precision Goalkeeping’s Roll Finger gloves after signing a deal with the Nottingham-based brand.
He said; “I am delighted to have been selected for the Republic of Ireland U21 squad.
“The game against Portugal is an important step as we build towards the European Championship Qualifiers in September.”
Dave Sanderson, national sales manager of Precision Training, said; “Ian is a superb addition to the Precision Goalkeeping stable.
“He has been getting valuable first team experience at Stockport in the last few months and his selection for the U21 squad is a fantastic achievement.”
