Burrda aims for top with ad campaign
Swiss performance sports brand targets becoming top brand in the market through global advertising campaign
Burrda Sport has launched its first global advertising campaign as its aims to become one of the leading brand names in the sports marketplace.
Burrda Sport was launched three years ago, making its debut in the UK last summer. It said it has already achieved success in the UK as shirt sponsor for Watford, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City football teams, and the Llanelli Scarlets and Northampton Saints rugby union teams. It also sponsors the UK national handball team.
Globally it is official kit provider to the Qatar, Kuwait and Belgium national football teams, Egyptian Premier League team Ismaily, as well as a number of regional football teams, and the USA handball team.

The global advertising campaign seeks to develop Burrda Sport's ‘creative strategy and harness the brand’s mission’, which includes the tagline ‘Challenge yourself’, through a variety of creative executions including a TV, print and outdoor ad campaign that will run across international markets.
First executions include a dynamic press advertising campaign featuring players from Leicester City and Llanelli Scarlets RFC. Future executions will involve British handball, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Northampton Saints plus additional leisurewear activity.
Matt Casey, creative director at Origin Creative, the agency behind the ad campaign, said: "Burrda Sport has its sights set high and need us to be just as creatively ambitious as they are in their business.
“[Burrda Sport] has already achieved a lot, and the campaign will drive it forwards throughout the year. One thing's for sure, it's going to be an exciting journey.”
