Chinese retailer Sport100 International joins buying group with immediate effect
Stag has agreed a deal that will see Chinese sports and lifestyle retail chain Sport100 international join the buying group with immediate effect.
Sport100 International has 43 megastores across China and records turnover in excess of £100 million each year.
The deal for Sport100 International to join STAG was brokered by the buying group’s joint owners Ward Robertson and Ricky Chandler with the Chinese retailer’s chief executive officer Alan Cheung.
Robertson said: “This is the beginning of a naturally strong agreement between our two companies, and we look forward to developing both of our businesses over the coming years.”
Cheung said: “I am delighted to ally with STAG and look forward to sharing ideas, networking, looking at new brands and trends. Our goals are clear and simple. Help each other to grow our businesses and then explore new opportunities on all fronts.”
