Pre-sales of Schmeichology goalkeeping gloves claimed as ‘fantastic’ as they hit retail stores
Precision Training said the new range of Precision Goalkeeping gloves developed and launched in collaboration with Kasper Schmeichel has seen ‘fantastic’ pre-sales.
Schmeichel, son of Manchester United legend Peter and current Leeds United goalkeeper, was heavily involved in the design of the gloves, which have been made to his exact specifications.
Schmeichology gloves, which were seen by the trade for the first time at last November’s STAG show, are now available for sale in retail stores, an occasion that was marked by Schmeichel attending a signing session at DW Sports in Birstall on Wednesday (April 6).
David Sanderson, national sales manager for Precision Training, said: “We are very excited about the new Schmeichology range hitting the stores.
“Pre-sales have been fantastic and it is great to see all the hard work that we have put in developing the gloves actually on the shelves.
“We have worked closely with Kasper to produce a glove that can perform at the highest level of the game and he will be heavily involved in the future development of the Precision Goalkeeping ranges.”
