New goalkeeping range continues growth of player roster with addition of fledgling international goalkeeper

England Under-21 international and Derby County goalkeeper Frank Fielding has become the latest player to sign up with the Precision Goalkeeping range.

Fielding is currently on international duty with England at the Under-21 European Championships in Denmark, where he is expected to command a starting berth. He is wearing special gloves in red and white to match the St George’s Cross, which also meted UEFA regulations.

He said: ““I am delighted to be part of the Precision Goalkeeping stable.

“Precision Goalkeeping are one of the most progressive brands out there at the moment and from the moment I put on the first pair of gloves I knew they were the right gloves for me.

“David Sanderson and the team have already gone out of their way to make sure everything is right for me ahead of the European Championships including organising special gloves that match UEFA regulations.”

Fielding joined Derby County from Premier League outfit Blackburn Rovers and becomes the latest name to endorse the Precision Goalkeeping range after Kasper Schmeichel, Kieren Westwood, Brian Jensen, Robert Olejnik, Ian McLoughlin, Trevor Carson and Republic of Ireland goalkeeping coach and former International Alan Kelly.

Sanderson, national sales manager with parent company Precision Training, said: “Frank is one of the best young keepers in England and we are delighted to have him on board.

“I have known him since he was 10 years old when he joined Blackburn Academy and he has already made over 100 Football League appearances, including a promotion season with Rochdale. Playing in a major international championship is a fantastic achievement and we wish him all the best for England and look forward to seeing him do well in the Championship for Derby County next season.”
