Player’s bag emblazoned with fan messages as a result of Head viral campaign
British tennis hope Andy Murray enjoyed a successful start to the Wimbledon Championships yesterday while carrying a racket bag emblazoned with support messages from fans.
The messages were the result of racket sport brand Head’s social media marketing campaign to allow fans to ‘Get Closer’ to Murray. Fans who liked the Head Facebook page had the chance to have their messages of support written on his bag for the tournament.
Some of the messages read: ‘Murray + Head + Wimbledon = slam in the bag’, ‘Make them bite the grass’ and ‘Use your Head, be the best, be part of Wimbledon’s winning history’.
More messages will be added to the bag as the tournament continues and Murray progresses over the coming fortnight.
