Range to return to Premier League as Keiren Westwood signs for Sunderland

Precision Goalkeeping gloves will be seen in the Premier League next season after Keiren Westwood signed for Sunderland.

Westwood joined as a Precision Goalkeeping player in February while he was signed with Coventry City. The close season has seen him move north however, with Sunderland confirming that he will officially join the club on July 1.

Other Precision Goalkeeping players include Brian Jensen, who played for Burney in the Premier League wearing the range, Trevor Carson and Kasper Schmeichel, with which Precision has launched the Schmeichology line of gloves.

Westwood is a current Republic of Ireland international. At Sunderland, he will compete with the currently injured Scottish international Craig Gordon, although media reports suggest that Gordon’s time at Sunderland may now be in doubt. The club’s current other goalkeeper is Belgian Simon Mignolet.

A Precision Goalkeeping spokesperson said the company was pleased with the move, adding that sales of its gloves are ‘going really well at the moment’.
