Intersport promotes Marshall-Keith
Hardware selector named product and brand manager at buying group
Intersport hardware selector Bridget Marshall-Keith has been promoted to the position of product and brand manager.
Marshall-Keith has 21 years experience in the sports trade, and in her most recent role was working with suppliers to create product ranges for Intersport members. In her new role Marshall-Keith will be overseeing the product team to further develop key supplier relationships and work closely with the marketing team to maximise the opportunities for the group, Intersport said.
Intersport said her promotion, alongside other changes at its head office, are designed to ‘ensure a greater focus on developing the working relationships with major suppliers for a more joined up approach’.
Tom Foley, the buying group’s general manager, said : “It is very important that we think beyond simply product and discount. Where Intersport members have excellent terms with our suppliers we are also working hard to make sure that the right product is placed in the right stores at the right time supported with the right marketing package.
