Accessories pack to grow appeal of football action figures
Pattni Imaginations, the toy manufacturer behind the soon-to-launch Match Stars range of football action figures, is to launch an accessories pack alongside the toys to grow the appeal of the series.
The accessories pack includes a goal, cones, balls, whistle, target practice piece and set of yellow and red cards. It has an RRP of £7.99.
Match Stars football action figures are due to arrive in retail stores in October, although will be available from a dedicated online store at www.match-stars.co.uk soon. From Friday (August 12), a Match Stars Facebook store will also launch in order to mark the kick-off of the 2011/2012 Barclays Premier League season.
Pattni Imaginations managing director Mayur Pattni said: “These accessories add a whole new interactive element to the Match Stars experience; games and tournaments can now be played, with rival teams pitted against one another and this will increase the appeal of the range as a whole.”
The Match Stars range is proving popular with consumers, with some 7,000 people already fans of the products on Facebook before they are launched.
