“Whether you’re a recent graduate or a college dropout, I’m sure your resume is much better than mine was 48 years ago,” Gates said in a LinkedIn post while sharing the resume he wrote to the age of 18.
Gates wrote the resume during his freshman year at Harvard. He listed his purpose as a “systems analyst or systems programmer”.

Interestingly, he also mentioned his height and weight and that he had no dependents.
The resume said he had taken courses such as structure of operating systems, database management, building compilers, and computer graphics at Harvard.
He also noted his experience in programming languages such as FORTRAN, COBOL, ALGOL, BASIC, etc.

Gates also mentioned his experience as a systems programmer with TRW Systems Group in 1973. He also added his experience as a co-manager and co-contract partner at Lakeside School in Seattle in 1972.
